10-minute winter fruit compote is a Quick winter recipe for 4 people, takes only 5 mins; recipe has dried fruit, orange juice and cinnamon stick.
Ingredients
- Yogurt - 0% Greek yogurt or low-fat fromage frais, to serve
- Black Peppercorn - 6 black peppercorns
- Orange Juice - 200ml fresh orange juice
- Clove - 6 cloves
- Cinnamon Stick - half cinnamon stick
- Dried Fruit - 500g pack mixed dried fruit
Instructions
- Tip the dried fruit, orange juice and whole spices into a microwaveable bowl. Microwave on High for 4-5 mins, stirring halfway through until the juices become sticky and the fruits are plump.
- Leave the compote to stand for a minute and serve in bowls with spoonfuls of yogurt or fromage frais.
