Ingredients

  • Lemon: 1/2 lemon, sliced
  • Cinnamon: 1 small cinnamon stick
  • Bay Leaf: 1 bay leaf
  • Honey: 1 tsp runny honey
  • Gin: 100ml gin
  • Clove: 4 cloves
  • Cardamom Pod: 2 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
  • Apple Juice: 400ml apple juice
  • Coriander Seeds: 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
  • Bay Leaves: 4 bay leaves
  • Juniper Berry: 3 juniper berries, lightly crushed

Directions

  1. Divide the gin between four small heatproof glasses or teacups.
  2. Tip the apple juice into asaucepanwith the rest of the ingredients. Heat gently until simmering, then strain into a jug. Pour the mulled apple juice into the glasses with the gin and stir gently to combine. Garnish each glass with a bay leaf and half a lemon slice and serve warm.
