No-cook spiced apple chutney Recipe
No-cook spiced apple chutney is a Chutney recipe for 4 - 8 people, takes only 20 mins; recipe has braeburn apple, red onion and sultana.
Ingredients
- Cumin - 1/4 tsp cumin
- Red Onion - 1 red onion, finely chopped
- Sugar - 40g dark brown soft sugar
- Sultana - 125g sultana
- Red Wine Vinegar - 80ml red wine vinegar
- Ground Ginger - 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- Cayenne - pinch of cayenne
- Braeburn Apple - 2 large Braeburn apples (or similar), peeled, cored and diced
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Give them a good stir and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Pour into a sterilized jar and refrigerate. Leave for 2 - 3 days, shaking once a day, before eating. Keep for up to a week more.
