Quick sushi bowl Recipe
Quick sushi bowl is a Quick summer recipe for 2 people, takes only 10 mins; recipe has sushi rice, sugar and rice vinegar.
Ingredients
- Carrot - 1 large carrot, cut into ribbons
- Sugar - pinch sugar
- Soy Sauce - 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Cucumber - 1/4 cucumber, halved longways and sliced
- Red Cabbage - 4 tbsp pickled red cabbage
- Ginger - thumb-sized piece ginger, finely sliced
- Sushi Rice - 150g sushi rice
- Rice Vinegar - 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- Sesame Seeds - 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- Salmon Fillets - 2 cooked salmon fillets (we used teriyaki marinated)
- Radishes - handful radishes, sliced
Instructions
- Cook the sushi rice following pack instructions. When cooked, sprinkle over the sugar and vinegar, cover and set aside for 5 mins.
- Divide the rice between two bowls and arrange the other ingredients on top, then drizzle with the soy sauce and sesame seeds, if using.
