St Nick’s flip
Ingredients
- cognac - 200ml cognac
- muscat-wine - 150ml muscat wine (we used Rutherglen)
- simple-syrup - 60ml simple syrup (we used Funkin Sugar Cane Syrup)
- egg-white - 6 egg whites
- double-cream - 120ml double cream
- ice - ice
- orange-peel - 6 strips of pared orange peel
- clove - 6 cloves
- ground-cinnamon - 6 pinches of ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Pour a third of all the ingredients (except the pared orange, cloves and cinnamon) into a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice.
- Shake hard for 1 min, then strain into two wine glasses. Repeat twice more with the remaining ingredients using fresh ice each time. Stud each piece of pared orange with a clove, then use to garnish each glass along with a pinch of cinnamon.
Easy cocktail recipe for 6 people, takes only 20 mins; recipe has cognac, muscat wine, simple syrup, egg white, double cream, ice, orange peel, clove and ground cinnamon.
OH I made a mistake pouring cinnamon bit earlier, hence it tasted bit weird so I end up adding more ingredients than mentioned above. Anyhow, it tasked good, I wonder what the real flip tastes at shops.
I didn’t tasted good for me either, or may be I messed somehow. Anyhow, the punjabi sour and caipirinha tasted much better and finally I have something that I can make myself and keep them in fridge for later use.
