Pear & rose punch

Non-alcoholic cocktail recipe for 4-6 people, takes only 5 mins; recipe has pear juice, vanilla pod, golden caster sugar, cardamom pods, root ginger, raw apple cider vinegar, rosewater, sparkling water, ice, rosemary sprigs, thyme, red pear and redcurrants.

Ingredients

  • Thyme: thyme, leaves picked
  • Root Ginger: few slices root ginger
  • Golden Caster Sugar: 1 tbsp golden caster sugar
  • Vanilla Pod: 1 vanilla pod
  • Rosemary Sprigs: rosemary sprigs
  • Rosewater: 1/2 tsp rosewater
  • Ice: ice
  • Sparkling Water: 250ml sparkling water
  • Cardamom Pods: 4 cardamom pods
  • Pear Juice: 1l pear juice
  • Raw Apple Cider Vinegar: 25ml raw apple cider vinegar
  • Red Pear: sliced red pear
  • Redcurrants: handful frozen redcurrants

Directions

  1. Pour the pear juice into a large pan. Add the vanilla pod, golden caster sugar, cardamom pods and root ginger, then bring to a simmer. Leave to cool completely, then strain into a punch bowl or jug.
  2. Add the raw apple cider vinegar, rosewater and sparkling water. Garnish with rosemary sprigs, thyme, sliced red pear and a handful of frozen redcurrants. Add ice and serve.
