Ingredients

  • Mint: large bunch mint, stems removed
  • Cucumber: 10 thin slices cucumber, plus 4 ribbons sliced with a vegetable peeler
  • Gin: 150ml gin
  • Sugar Syrup: 50ml sugar syrup (buy ready-made, or make your own - see tip, below)
  • Vermouth: 1 tbsp dry vermouth

Directions

  1. Chill two martini glasses. Put all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker or jug (except the cucumber ribbons), along with a handful of ice. Shake or mix well to combine, then strain the liquid into the glasses. Garnish with the cucumber ribbons, bunched up and threaded onto a cocktail stick.
